About the Campaign
Eric Engelberger was an exceptional friend and colleague that brought pure joy to everyone he met. His fun-loving spirit and sense of humor would bring a smile to anyone around him. One of Eric’s memorable traits was his willingness to help others. If something going on, he wanted to be involved and help in any way he could.
During his time at SAU, Eric worked in Housing as a Resident Assistant (RA), Resident Director, and Assistant Director for Housing Facilities. While a student, he was the President of the SGA. Eric continued his involvement in student activities by serving as Assistant Director of the Reynolds Center for two years. In the following years, he came to be the Special Assistant for Plant Administration at the Physical Plant. He was a true gift to the people in his life because he was always there when you needed a helping hand.
Our Goal
Our goal is to raise $14,000 to build The Benches at Berger Circle, an outdoor social area in honor of Eric Engelberger. This area will consist of four benches in a concrete circle, with a monument that tells Eric’s story in the center.
