Southern Arkansas University welcomed a new member of the Mulerider family on Sept. 3, when alumnus Ron Harrell donated “Molly Ann,” a registered gated mule. Molly Ann will be ridden by the Mulerider at official events and has already been used in several promotional pieces for the University. She even made a television appearance during homecoming week. Pictured during the “passing of the reins” ceremony are Harrell, Board of Trustees Chairman O.A. “Buddy” Franks, SAU President Dr. David Rankin, SAU Foundation Board Chairman Louis Blanchard, and SAU Mulerider Megan Maye.
