Lauren (Hardy) ’13 and Alan Thompson ’12 were united in marriage on June 8, 2013, at Christ United Methodist in Texarkana, Ark. Lauren is the daughter of Steve Hardy ’90 and Tina (Brasher) Hardy ’00 ’09 of Magnolia.
Angela (Harwell) ’06 and Alexander Stewart ’05 were married October 20, 2012, in Los Colinas, Texas. The couple now resides in Dallas.
Megan (Harwell) ’04 and Jason Smith were married on December 29, 2012, in Hot Springs, and are now residing in Benton.
Amy (Hayes) ’11 and Cannon Lester ’11 were united in marriage on December 8, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church in Magnolia. Amy is the daughter of Dr. Randy ’84 and Kathryn Hayes ’06 of Magnolia. Cannon is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Bruce Lester and the grandson of Joe ‘51 and Helen (Parmer) Johnson ‘53 of Norphlet, Ark. The couple planned a trip to Sandals Resort in St. Lucia. They will reside in Magnolia. The bride is a kindergarten teacher for the El Dorado School District and the groom is the assistant baseball coach for SAU and pursuing a master’s degree.
Kaylee (Jones) (Current Student) and Mickey Harwell (Current Student) were married on May 12, 2012, at Garrison Gardens in Genoa, Ark. The couple is now residing in Magnolia. Mickey will graduate in December 2013 with a B.Ed. and Kaylee graduated May 2013 with a B.S.N.

Lynnette (Summerland) ’10 and Justin Barnes were united in marriage on June 2, 2012. The bride is the daughter of Kathy and Jon Gaught and Keith and Paula Summerland of Hamburg, Ark. The groom is the son of Doug and Becky Barnes of Stamps, Ark.
Sandra (Smith) ’02 and Antonio Hughes were married on November 21, 2012. Sandra is the dean of students at SAU.
Ashley (Meador) and Jasper Nicholas Barbaree were united in marriage on October 20, 2012, at the Myrtelle’s House in El Dorado. The bride is the daughter of Danny and Nancy Meador and Tom and Suzie Hunt. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Barbaree. The couple had a five-day honeymoon cruise with stops in Progresso and Cozumel, Mexico. The bride is employed by USA Drug and will graduate from SAU with a degree in business administration with a minor in marketing and education. The groom is the sales manager at Flowers Baking Company.
