The SAU Alumni Association continues to be ever grateful for the generosity and dedication of our incredible alumni family. Throughout the fall of 2013, your donations and dues have helped to benefit our campus and community in the following ways:

  • Purchased SAU Police a golf cart to promote campus safety
  • Purchased a grill for SAU Athletics
  • Funded Christmas decorations for Celebration of Lights to enhance the holiday spirit for the community including the Centennial Tree and the Christmas Display on Hwy. 82.
  • Hosted 1997 GSC Championship Recognition Dinner
  • Hosted SAU Homecoming Golf Tournament to raise funds for the Alumni Board Scholarship and Championship Rings
  • Hosted Golden Muleriders Breakfast 2013
  • Grilled hamburgers for SAU Band Members
  • Provided an array of “give-aways” to SAU students
  • Official host of Mulegating festivities
  • Purchased the “Class of 2017” banner for the incoming freshmen to sign at the Freshman Steak Dinner
  • The Alumni Association was a visible part of the “Domestic Violence Awareness Walk” on the campus of SAU. SAU faculty, staff, and friends walked in honor of Julie Hartsfield.
