Peggy (Trexler) and James Bailey ’54 recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married July 1, 1960. Mrs. Bailey is a retired computer technician, and Mr. Bailey is a reporter with the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. They are the parents of Robert Bailey of Benton and have one grandchild.
Dorothy (Whitmer) ’63 and Jerry Berley ‘75 recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married July 9, 1960. They have two children, Terri Calloway ‘85 of Warren and Mark Berley of Camden. They also have five grandchildren. Mr. Berley is retired from the National Federation of Independent Business and currently preaches for the Walnut Street Church of Christ in Warren. Mrs. Berley is retired from International Paper Co. Woodlands Division.
Charlotte (Pittman) ’61, ‘77 and Homer “Buck” Cheatham ‘62 recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married August 21, 1960. They have three children, Connie Eason, Clint Cheatham, and Clark Cheatham and six grandchildren. Mrs. Cheatham is a retired teacher from the Magnolia School District and is working at
South Central Cooperative in Camden. Mr. Cheatham is self-employed.
Wanda (Whitney)’63 and Jimmy Fincher ’63 recently celebrated their 50th wedding. The couple married August 20,1960. Mrs. Fincher is a retired school teacher. Mr. Fincher is a retired resident manager for Prescott and North Western Railroad. They are the parents of Dee Godwin, Kenny Fincher and Jo Beth Glass. They have six grandchildren.
Betty Jane (Ezell) ’56, ‘77 and Walter Malone ’61 recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on August 21, 1960. They have two sons, Mark and Monty Malone and five grandchildren. Mr. Malone is a retired Baptist minister. Mrs. Malone is a retired school teacher.
