C.T. and Tara (Grimmett) Almand ’08 of Waldo had their first child, Dixie Marie, on August 15, 2013. Dixie was 7lbs. 7 ½ oz. and 19” long. Dixie is welcomed into the world by grandparents Byron ’49 and Sandy (Brasher) Grimmett ’71 of Waldo and Darren and Julia (Smith) Almand ’91 of Texarkana, Ark.
Madeleine Hannah Brice
Chantal Brice (Communications Dept.) and Jared Brice ’05 welcomed their first child on August 14, 2013. Madeleine Hannah Brice was born at 9:26 a.m. in Magnolia Ark. She weighed 5.86 lbs and was 19.5″ long. Grandparents are Robin Mahan from Center Ridge, Ark., Jerry and Lynne Brice from Springfield, Ark.; and Ruth Wiseman and Kenneth Doucet from Alberta, Canada.
Samuel Butts and Ashley (Whitelaw) ‘11 of Magnolia announce the birth of their twin sons, John Nicholas Butts and Noah Quinton Butts. They were born Aug. 30, 2013, at 8:34 a.m. and 8:35 a.m., respectively, at Magnolia Regional Medical Center. John Nicholas was 6 lbs., 3.2 oz., and 17” in length, while Noah Quinton was 6 lbs., 15 oz., and measured 20” in length.
They were welcomed home by their older brother, Luke Butts, 6. Grandparents are Sam ‘81 and Ellen Whitelaw of Magnolia.
