The Southern Arkansas University Alumni Association sponsored a champagne bingo event hosted in the “barn” of Therral and Jan Story. The crowd dined on gourmet cheeses, fruits and petit fors while entertained by author Myra McLarey, Jeff Smart and Beth Anne Rankin. The February gathering drew more than 200 people and raised more than $6,000 toward the new SAU Rodeo arena. Members of the SAU Rodeo team graciously served attendees. Those serving are featured in the August 2011- July 2012 special edition rodeo calendar, which can be purchased for $15 each through the SAU Agriculture Department.
