CASE honors three SAU staff members

Three SAU employees were honored by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education during the organization’s annual awards competition. The awards were presented in conjunction with the CASE District IV conference in March.

Ceil Bridges, director of alumni relations, received two CASE accolades. She received a gold award in the New Alumni Programs category for the SAU Alumni Association’s Ladies Champagne Bingo and a silver award in the Low Cost Alumni Program category for the Golden Mulerider Memory Book.

Aaron Street, director of communications, received one award. His photograph “Friendliness is Not Rocket Science” earned a bronze citation in the Color Photography – Structured category. The photo featured Dr. Viktoriya Street, associate professor of biology.

Street was also a merit winner in the 27th annual Educational Advertising Awards in the Television Advertising/Series category for the “Proud to be a Mulerider” commercial series from 2012.

Jeremy Langley, assistant to the president for special projects and university editor, received a silver award in the CASE competition for his entry “Theft of Five Rodeo Horses” in the General Writing Collection category.
